Time to roll this out again. The myth that republicans are interested in lowering the debt.
This chart shows the amount of debt increased by the party in power in congress, regardless of the party of the president in power, from 1975 to 2006.
The largest increase in debt was by the republican run congress between 2003 to 2006. A record $555 billion dollar increase in 2003, only to be eclipsed the next year, a $596 billion increase.
The Green lines show completed passes. The blue triangles show shots attempted. The red dots show goals scored.
I think this is the best football related infographic I’ve seen this year. The simplicity is so refreshing, and looking at it, you are actually able to reach conclusions yourself. Its a fantastic infographic because it presents the info but lets you draw the conclusions, most others make the conclusions for you and that is half the fun, isn’t it?
